Event: Westport Walk

AVA Special Programs: Par For The Course (Surfing)

AVA Sanction#/Distance/Rating: 125712 - 2024 / Y0837 - 10K (rated 1C) with 5K option (rated 1A) and 11K and 12K options (both rated 1C)

Description: Walk on paved walkways and along the ocean beach, watch surfers, see fishing boats in the marina (fresh fish can be purchased right off the boat) and people fishing or crabbing on the public docks, or shop in the quaint shops of this fishing town. Also on view are the ocean and the "tallest lighthouse in Washington". All but 1K of the trail is paved, and walkers have the option of walking the beach for major parts of the 11K. On a clear day, you can see the Olympics and Mt. Rainier in the distance.

Start/Finish Times: Daily - Dawn to Dusk.

Accessibility/Amenities: Medium difficulty for strollers and wheelchairs on the 6K an 9K only, not possible on the longer routes. Pets are allowed. Restrooms are at the start point and at various points en route.

Registration: This event uses the Online Start Box (OSB) ONLY. Driving directions and start point information will be included with the walk directions.
