Description: Walk through south Olympia neighborhoods and around a small lake with fishing access and a number of kinds of fish.
Start/End Location: Briggs Community YMCA at 1530 Yelm Highway SE, Olympia
From I-5 southbound, take Exit 103 (2nd Avenue). Turn left on Custer Way SE. Turn right on Cleveland Avenue SE, which becomes Yelm Highway. Turn left on Briggs Drive SE (just before Henderson Boulevard traffic signal). Turn right on first street (Maple Lane) and right into parking lot. If lot is full, please park on the street.
From I-5 northbound, take Exit 103 (Deschutes Way). Turn right on E Street SE and then turn left on Capitol Boulevard SE. Turn right on Custer Way SE. Turn right on Cleveland Avenue SE and then follow directions above.
Start/Finish Times: Monday-Friday 5am-9pm, Saturday 8am-6pm, Sunday 12noon-5pm. Holiday closures: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Accessability/Amenities: Possible for strollers, not possible for wheelchairs. Pets are allowed. Restrooms are at the start point and at occasional points along the route.
